This scene was also captured by the smartphone.

"When do we make our move?" Datou whispered to Liu Dafei from behind the sofa.

"Don't rush, wait until they fall asleep," Liu Dafei said.

"What if they sleep in the same room? How are we supposed to do it?" Datou asked.

Liu Dafei was also feeling quite frustrated. According to the information provided by the employer, the target Zhou Yang was a tenant and slept in a separate room from the female homeowner.

With such an arrangement, opportunities to strike were extremely limited.

"For now, we can only wait for the target to come out to use the restroom," Liu Dafei said. "Hold your ground."

"Got it!" Datou replied.

Just the thought of getting one million upon the completion of the task made him tremble with excitement.

A moment later, Tang Yumei returned from the bathroom, looking as though she had rinsed off, and went back into Zhou Yang's room.

This time, she didn't even bother to close the bedroom door.

"Sister Mei, again?" Zhou Yang asked.

"What? Are you out of juice?"

"Of course not. I'm just worried you'll miss your flight tomorrow."

"If you make me miss my flight, I simply won't leave tomorrow!" Tang Yumei said playfully.

Zhou Yang replied, "Then you'd better brace yourself for the storm I'm about to unleash!"

Shortly after, the rhythmic creaking of the bed and sounds of pleasure echoed out once more.

Datou adjusted the angle of his smartphone camera, aiming it at the large bed in Zhou Yang's bedroom, where two figures were tightly intertwined.

Datou watched with rapt attention.

Liu Dafei, on the other hand, was annoyed beyond measure.

"These two shameless hounds just don't know when to quit."

Datou muttered, "Well, even though we're not in the bedroom, watching it live like this is pretty thrilling."

"Peasant!" Liu Dafei cursed at Datou.

Nearly an hour later, the two of them reluctantly separated.

"It's finally over!" Liu Dafei had almost fallen asleep leaning against the back of the sofa.

At that moment, the pair stepped out of the room together and headed toward the bathroom.

After taking a couple's bath, they emerged from the bathroom and sat down on the sofa.

"Zhou Yang, you're amazing!" Tang Yumei said, "I feel like my bones are about to fall apart."

Zhou Yang smiled. "I was even holding back."

"What? You still had energy to spare?" Tang Yumei protested. "No way, I can't accept this!"

"Then what should we do?" Zhou Yang asked. "If we keep going, I'm genuinely afraid you won't be able to handle it."

Tang Yumei replied, "I've spent all these years sleeping alone, and tomorrow I'm heading off to America. Since I've already broken the taboo tonight, I'm going to break it all the way!"

"Fine!" Zhou Yang said. "Since Sister Mei has a request, I'll do my best to fulfill it. I'll make up for all the loneliness you've suffered over the years in one single night."

"Zhou Yang, you're so good to me. I really don't want to leave you!"

As they spoke, their voices grew softer and more intimate, until Tang Yumei naturally slumped back against the sofa.

Liu Dafei: "..."

At that moment, Liu Dafei felt his soul leaving his body.

Were these two people out of their minds? Didn't they ever sleep?

Yet, because he and Datou were hiding behind the sofa, they didn't dare to make any sudden movements, leaving them with no choice but to silently endure and wait.

The sounds of Zhou Yang and Tang Yumei resumed on the sofa, which began to rock back and forth once again.

Earlier, when they were in the bedroom, the noise hadn't been too loud, but now that it was happening right beside Liu Dafei and Datou, it made both men flush with heat all over.

Perhaps because they had changed the battlefield, the pair were in extremely high spirits, and it took over an hour before they finally stopped.

"I can't take any more!" Tang Yumei completely surrendered.

Zhou Yang asked with concern, "Sister Mei, is anything hurting?"

"It feels amazing, just so tired!" Tang Yumei said with a satisfied expression. "Zhou Yang, you give me so much pleasure."

"As long as Sister Mei is happy!" Zhou Yang replied.

The reason he possessed such formidable stamina was, of course, not entirely natural.

The manual *Golden Scales* contained recipes for male invigoration. While those formulas worked wonders for patients, on a healthy person, they could multiply combat endurance manifold.

Ever since entering puberty, Zhou Yang had been enlightened by *Golden Scales* and frequently bought herbs according to the formulas to concoct for himself, often suffering nosebleeds from the potency.

Years of consuming these tonics had blessed him with a robust constitution and extraordinary stamina during his growing years.

That was precisely why Lu Wei could never bear to be away from him.

Now, Tang Yumei was also growing reluctant to leave Zhou Yang, but alas, she still had her career to attend to.

After chatting for a little while, Tang Yumei clearly grew drowsy.

"Sister Mei, we should probably sleep in separate rooms," Zhou Yang suggested. "I'm afraid if we stay together, I won't be able to control myself."

"Good grief, you really are a freak of nature," Tang Yumei panted.

Zhou Yang offered an awkward smile. "Good night, Sister Mei."

The two of them retreated to their respective bedrooms.

At last, Liu Dafei and Datou saw their long-awaited opportunity.

"Don't act rashly yet. After exerting themselves this much tonight, they're bound to be dead to the world. Wait until they're fast asleep, and we'll go in and finish the job!" Liu Dafei instructed.

"Got it!" Datou whispered.

Right then, Liu Dafei noticed a notification light flashing on his phone.

Because his phone had been on silent and his nerves had been stretched taut, he hadn't paid attention to his messages.

He unlocked the phone and saw an image sent from an unknown number. It contained a few casual photos of Zhou Yang, with barely acceptable clarity.

"Did the employer just send the photos now?" Datou asked.

"No, they sent them earlier today. I just hadn't checked my phone!" Liu Dafei said, peering closely at the pictures.

"Why does this guy look so familiar?"

As Liu Dafei stared at Zhou Yang's face, a nagging sense of recognition washed over him. He felt as though he had seen this person not too long ago, but his brain felt jammed, unable to bridge the gap to recall where they had crossed paths.

"Let me see!" Datou leaned his head over to inspect the screen.

Instantly, he gasped in shock, "Holy crap, Brother Fei, isn't this that guy?!"

"Ah!" It was as if Liu Dafei had been struck by lightning from Datou's words. Everything clicked into place instantly: "The boyfriend of that pretty woman downstairs from Qianqian!!"

"Yes! It's that exact bastard!" Datou exclaimed. "I'll never forget him for as long as I live—he's the one who kicked me in the crotch that day!"

Despair washed over Liu Dafei in an instant.

They had witnessed firsthand just how terrifying Zhou Yang's combat prowess was that night.

The six of them had been completely flattened by Zhou Yang in mere moments.

Judging by how effortlessly he had handled them, even if six more men were added to the mix, Zhou Yang would still lay them all flat.

How on earth were the two of them supposed to deal with such a monster?

"No wonder this guy kept going for three whole hours," Liu Dafei muttered. "He's not even human! He's a mythical beast!"

Datou swallowed hard. "Brother Fei, I'm sitting this one out. I'm sorry, Brother Fei, I'm going home!"

Liu Dafei grabbed Datou by the collar. "Don't you dare leave!"

"Brother Fei, please have mercy," Datou pleaded. "With just the two of us, we can't kill him—we'll just end up handed over to the police station. Brother Fei, we've been friends since we were kids, you can't throw your buddy under the bus like this! We honestly can't take him!"

"I know that as well as you do," Liu Dafei said.

Datou retorted, "If you know, why are you stopping me from leaving?"

"I'm not trying to stop you from leaving. If you damn well want to run, I'll go with you, but at least pack up the phone stand first!" Liu Dafei hissed, pointing at the equipment on the floor.

"Oh, right! Okay, okay!" Datou fumbled frantically.

Tiptoeing through the apartment with their phones, the two men bolted out the door, sprinted down to the street, and dashed back across to the hotel opposite.

They had rented a room there earlier and planned to stay until nightfall before taking action.

Since they hadn't actually made a move yet, returning to the hotel was safe, and the targets wouldn't suspect a thing.

"Holy shit, that was too close!" Back in the hotel room, Liu Dafei patted his chest, still recovering from the shock, and cursed inwardly: *No wonder when I asked Xie Yong for five million, he agreed without missing a beat. It turns out the target was this lunatic! Xie Yong is such a scumbag, expecting someone to assassinate a monster like this without offering tens of millions in reward? Trying to get major work done on a cheap budget and treating me like a complete fool, damn it!*

"Brother Fei, what do we do now?" Datou asked. "How are we going to explain this to the boss?"

"Explain what? Turn your phone off!" Liu Dafei snapped.

"Huh?" Datou blinked in confusion.

"Huh, my foot! Get a good night's sleep, and then we skip town!" Liu Dafei declared.

He had already pocketed a three-million-yuan deposit from Xie Yong. Even though the job wasn't done, refunds were out of the question. He bet Xie Yong wouldn't dare to go to the police either, or Xie Yong would be finished too.

With that thought, a wave of immense relief washed over Liu Dafei, and he drifted off into a blissful sleep.
