Following the order, Lone Shadow drew his long sword and pressed it against the leader’s neck. The onlookers quickly scattered, fearing to get caught in the crossfire. Only a few seasoned heroes remained, not watching the stage but enjoying the unfolding drama.
On the city wall, the two made no fire. Ying Gao Xiang brought along a portable military gas stove, and they roasted earthworms and eggs while chatting leisurely.
After hanging up her mother’s call, An Junxi booked the nearest train to the provincial capital and hurried to the station.
Zhang Xiao arrived at the Cheetah Gang. Several gang members outside, having witnessed his prowess, hurried to greet him with bows and smiles as he approached.
A sharp buzzing sound rang out, and Zhang Xiao went straight downstairs, opened the door, and entered the passage through which he had come.
Yet even without recent events, Su Lin would never team up lightly; her goal was first place, so naturally, she sought the most skilled shooter.
Hearing this, Yu Xinyu confidently approached the man and began removing her clothes one by one, letting them fall to the ground.
But she saw no one—only thick black mist swirled before her, and she began to sense the peril of her situation.
Setting aside thoughts of the alloy steel plate composition and the constant threat of being buried alive, the clattering sound oddly brought a sense of relief.
“Aunt Li, would you like to start with the steak? I really didn’t know you were coming, otherwise I would have bought more food,” Jiang Meili said apologetically, blushing.
It seemed Liang Mo wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon. He gave a bitter smile and said, “Alright then, I’ll listen to your so-called true story.” He deliberately emphasized “true,” though it was clear they meant very different things.
Though unaware of these people’s purpose, their origin was now known.

“We’ve long been the black sheep of the Beijing team!” Lang Tao waved his hand, his face fearless.
A shadow flashed; the jackal tapir appeared behind Jiang Tianyang. Looking down at the large hole torn in his chest, Jiang coughed up fresh blood, his head drooped lifelessly.
Bi Youcheng’s words failed to rouse his friends from their terror. They remained frozen, eyes wide and unmoving, as if their souls had left their bodies. Meanwhile, Bi Youcheng busily plunged his hands into the hotpot broth, scooping out meatballs.
A month after the commercial aired, “Mountain Water Beauty” had become standard fare for millionaires.
“No way. My birthday wish was for a Barbie doll, and my mother bought me one,” Zheng Baozhu protested.
Lin Feng had just fled Vietnam in panic and now faced Liang Mo’s disappearance—it was truly misfortune upon misfortune. These days, his spirits were low.
“Big brother, I want to go north with you. I want to make achievements and bring honor to father. Please take me with you,” Xu Lingyang panted as he hurried to Ning Fei.
Jiang Qinge looked surprised. Had it not been so late last night, she would have sought Song Jing’s answers sooner. After enduring the night, she eagerly rushed to the princess’s residence at dawn.

Liu Lianyi lifted her veil, revealing Lady Yan pulling her close. Her rosy cheeks, though covered in rouge, still showed faint traces of tears.

“Well then, why not think it over again? I promise to make you famous,” the agent said unwillingly, offering all sorts of temptations.
Suddenly, at the gap in the city wall, a burly bandit leader charged in on horseback, shouting loudly to halt the mountain bandits who were retreating step by step.
Someone suddenly shouted. With the students achieving such great results, shouldn’t the homeroom teacher pitch in a bit?
A pale blue blade shimmered briefly over a translucent short knife. Where she stepped, circular blue ripples spread, suspending her within a vacuum.
Jiang Chang’an approached the bed. Young Master Long lay motionless under a thick quilt, his face pale but still bearing his usual optimistic smile.
No matter what, he never imagined that what he had only dreamed of would so vividly manifest before him at this moment.
“Lin Chu, why didn’t you even collect your trophy after the chess tournament?” Tong Yao’s eyes held a teasing gleam.
“Heh…” Ji Qingcheng didn’t know how to express her feelings at that moment. Plain water? Is your family really that poor?
Dongfang Yunyang stared intently into those eyes—a pair so familiar, though somewhat changed, yet the gaze was etched deep within his heart.
