Chapter Fifteen: Wetting One’s Pants
Page 1/3
Li Qifeng suddenly felt a certain part of his body relax, and then a warm, wet sensation spread through his crotch.
"Damn, did I really just wet myself? No way!"
Someone shouted out first, and everyone else stared at Li Qifeng in disbelief.
Disgusted expressions appeared on their faces. Even Zhang Jing took a few steps back, fearful that others would realize their connection.
Many bystanders, drawn by the commotion, gathered around. Upon seeing the scene, several pinched their noses as if repulsed, yet they didn’t leave, instead seeming strangely entertained.
Some young people even pulled out their phones to take photos and record videos.
"Damn, peeing in public like that, this guy’s something else!"
"Haha, it’s not him who’s tough—it’s the guy who touched him earlier. That little poke scared him stiff!"
"Seriously? Just a touch and he’s that scared? What a coward."
"Right? Dressed in a full suit looking all tough, but turns out he’s such a scaredy-cat. Let him keep pretending!"
"I think that young man might not be ordinary, but this guy just made a huge fool of himself."
Amid the crowd’s jeers, Li Qifeng wished he could vanish into a crack in the floor. He had never felt so humiliated in his life.
He couldn’t understand what was wrong with him—how could a mere touch from someone else cause him to lose control like this?
"You bastard! It’s gotta be you, right? You’re behind this, aren’t you?" Li Qifeng’s face twisted with rage as he shouted at Lin Chen.
When the other person touched him, Li Qifeng felt a chill from the fingertips, as if a cold aura had entered his body—he was certain it was Lin Chen’s doing!
Lin Chen didn’t answer but smiled and said, "Believe it or not, if I touch you again, your body will react even worse."
Hearing this, Li Qifeng was terrified and took several fearful steps back, as if a grinning demon stood opposite him. Then, feeling ashamed of his own cowardice, he grit his teeth and snarled at Lin Chen,
"You little punk, just wait! I’ll never let you off! I’ll make sure you can’t survive in Yuehai City!"
After throwing the threat, he immediately left, afraid that Lin Chen might chase after him to touch him again.
Zhang Jing looked at Lin Chen with a complicated expression. He was clearly different from before—far more domineering and confident, no longer the poor kid who ran errands in the office, and seemed to possess some strange abilities.
She felt a sudden pang of regret. If she had really been with Lin Chen back then, it might have been nice. He was clearly more reliable than those rich second-generation kids. But now, it was too late to think about that; she could only chase after Li Qifeng.

As the crowd dispersed, Leng Hanyan looked at Lin Chen with a strange smile.
Lin Chen said, speechless, “Why are you looking at me like that…”
Leng Hanyan said, “He acted like that because of you, didn’t he?”
Lin Chen laughed, “What does it have to do with me? He’s just a coward. I touched him once, and he freaked out like that. I was joking, didn’t expect him to be so fragile. Or maybe his body really has some problem.”
“Pfft, forget it then.” Leng Hanyan rolled her eyes.
In her queen-like attire, that eye-roll was both alluring and sexy. Lin Chen was momentarily stunned.
“Well? Don’t I look great?” Leng Hanyan proudly spun around in front of Lin Chen, beaming.
Lin Chen swallowed and said insincerely, “Not bad.”
“Hmph! You don’t mean that! Hey, I want this outfit.” With a playful pout, Leng Hanyan turned to the saleswoman nearby.
The saleswoman had been a bit dazed but snapped back upon hearing Leng Hanyan’s words, showering her with compliments and then sincerely telling Lin Chen, “Sir, your girlfriend is not only beautiful but also so elegant. You’re truly lucky.”
Leng Hanyan grinned at Lin Chen, clearly pleased.
Lin Chen didn’t reply but smiled and said, “Thanks for what you did earlier.”
Leng Hanyan knew he meant her pretending to be his girlfriend to help him out, so she said, “You’re welcome. I just didn’t like that woman to begin with.”
“Oh? Why don’t you like her? She didn’t seem to offend you.” Lin Chen asked curiously.
“None of your business, hmph!” Leng Hanyan rolled her eyes again, leaving Lin Chen puzzled.
Zhang Jing hadn’t offended her at all—it was probably just because she called him a poor guy.
After buying the clothes, it was already quite late. Leng Hanyan gave Lin Chen a ride back to his neighborhood and then left.
At parting, she hesitated and stammered something about “taking care of your health... don’t let that... that thing make you feel inferior. There’s more to a man and woman than just that.”
Lin Chen was left baffled by her words. She blushed and drove off as if fleeing the scene.
Watching the blue Porsche disappear into the night, Lin Chen muttered, “What’s with this woman, all secretive? But she’s actually pretty nice, not as cold as she seems—kind of cute.”
Suddenly, he smiled and glanced toward a dark corner where a large tree stood, saying calmly, “I said, can you come out now? You’ve been following us all this way; what exactly do you want?”

Just as he finished speaking, a man in his mid-twenties stepped out from behind the tree. Muscular build, crew cut, a scar across his face—he looked like a fierce character.
“You actually noticed me?” the man said, surprised.
“Is it strange to notice you? Did you think your tailing skills were that good?” Lin Chen mocked.
He had noticed a car following them earlier. When they got out, a man from that car quietly tailed them. His movements were swift and stealthy, but to Lin Chen, it was like he was just strolling right in front of him.
Lin Chen had initially thought the man was after Leng Hanyan, but when she left, he remained motionless, as if waiting for her to go.
So Lin Chen kept silent about the man’s presence and only spoke after Leng Hanyan left, deciding to deal with him himself. Since it wasn’t her he was after, it was obviously Lin Chen himself.
Lin Chen asked, “Are you sent by Li Qifeng?”
He thought only Li Qifeng, who had just embarrassed himself in front of him, would send someone to cause trouble. The others he had fought before—Liu Shanhua and the rest—wouldn’t dare retaliate.
The man sneered, “Li Qifeng? Ha! That loser directing me? He’s not worthy!”
Lin Chen grew curious. He couldn’t think who else would want to mess with him. “Oh? Then who sent you?”
The man proudly said, “I’m from Wu Shao’s crew!”
“Wu Shao? Who’s that? Can you just say it straight without beating around the bush? Stop acting all cryptic like you’re constipated—what a bore,” Lin Chen said impatiently.
“You…”
The man snapped angrily, “You don’t deserve to know who Wu Shao is! Just know he’s the top heir in Yuehai City, someone you’ll never come close to in your life. I’m here to warn you: stay away from Leng Hanyan. She’s Wu Shao’s woman, not yours to touch.”
Lin Chen finally understood the situation. Apparently, some big shot in Yuehai City thought he had a relationship with Leng Hanyan and considered her off-limits. So he sent someone to warn Lin Chen.
Truly, a woman can be a source of trouble, he thought.
Although Lin Chen had no feelings for Leng Hanyan, he wasn’t impressed with Wu Shao either. Sending a warning without even showing himself—how disrespectful or how arrogant must he be?
Lin Chen sneered, “And what if I do try to get involved? What can your Wu Shao do to me?”
