Chapter 111: If I Enter a Romance, the Whole World Becomes My Rival (11)
After finishing her work, Bai Yao was having a meal in the cafeteria when she overheard talk that a big client had arrived at the hospital, accompanied by several outsiders. The staff who had been here for a long time hadn’t seen so many new faces in ages, and everyone seemed a bit excited.
She, however, felt no interest in these matters. Although her work hadn’t been particularly strenuous these days, she did need time to adjust. When her break came, she couldn’t wait to hurry back to her dorm and lie down.
Step by step, Bai Yao climbed the stairs to the fourth-floor corridor, where she saw someone squatting at her dormitory door.
It was a young man with white hair, holding a small mirror and admiring his own striking beauty. He seemed quite satisfied, a smile glimmering in his eyes.
Sensing her arrival, he looked up, his pitch-black eyes suddenly lighting up, but he didn’t rush over excitedly. Instead, he remained squatting at the doorway, giving her a look that said, “Fine, I know you’re moved—so why aren’t you hurrying over to hug me?”
Bai Yao pressed her hand to her forehead, sighed, and resigned herself to reality, slowly walking over.
Fu Huai reached out to her, his expression full of smug delight.
She asked, “Why are you here?”
He replied as if it were the most natural thing in the world, “I knew you’d miss me, so I came.”
He rarely considered others so thoughtfully; if he wasn’t afraid she’d be upset not seeing him, he wouldn’t have come.
Fu Huai wiggled his outstretched hand, his meaning clear.
He always carried himself with an air of arrogance, like a proud queen, and if anyone received a glance from him, it was as if they were the luckiest person alive. Even when seeking a hug from her, his audacious and haughty demeanor didn’t change. Of course, he didn’t believe he was asking for a hug—he was merely satisfying her desire for him.
Bai Yao’s brow twitched.
He waited so long for her to move that his hand began to ache, and the expression on his beautiful face started to shift, ready to spit out some biting words. Fortunately, Bai Yao bent down and hugged him.
His mood instantly brightened. He wrapped his arms around her neck, his face buried in the crook of her neck, greedily inhaling her scent.
Bai Yao heard noises coming from the stairwell; someone else must have returned to the dorm. She quickly fished out her key, opened the door, pulled Fu Huai inside, and decisively shut it behind them.
Fu Huai saw her close the door, his eyes crinkling with delight. He tossed his bag onto the table and then wound himself around her like a snake, lifting her chin and kissing her deeply.
He was the very embodiment of desire—not only capable of stirring others’ longing, but his own, too, which never seemed satisfied.
Her mouth was filled completely by him. Bai Yao struggled to push him away, but he quickly kissed her again, grabbing her hand and guiding it inside his trousers.
They hadn’t seen each other in days; on his way to find her, he’d dealt with several imposters before becoming the only one to appear before her.
After such a long separation, the desire building inside him was desperate to be unleashed.
Bai Yao had no intention of letting him have his way. She withdrew her hand, feeling the burn, used her other to push his face away, and, breathlessly, asked, “You came to find me at the hospital, you didn’t stir up trouble, did you?”
Fu Huai protested, “What trouble could I possibly cause?”
He grinned, pressing his face to her shoulder, deliberately rubbing against her, whispering sweet, sticky breaths in her ear, “Yao Yao, love me.”
She glanced at him, “When you came to find me, did a lot of people see you?”
He shook his head, “No.”
He’d come to the dormitory building during work hours, so naturally hadn’t run into anyone. If he hadn’t worried about her being upset, he would’ve picked the lock and waited on her bed long ago.
Bai Yao knew full well—he thrived on chaos, and his allure was almost dangerous, making people lose their minds and chase after him with obsessive passion. The longer they interacted, the more extreme those people became.
Back when they first began dating, Bai Yao had rescued him from several deranged admirers.
She couldn’t deny his beauty, but she didn’t think Fu Huai was so handsome that people should lose all reason over him. Or perhaps he possessed some strange trait that attracted madmen?
This hospital housed many psychiatric patients. If Fu Huai wandered around, wouldn’t he drive them into a frenzy?
Fu Huai was displeased that Bai Yao didn’t dote on him. His hand slipped under her skirt, his voice petulant, “Why won’t you love me? Did someone else try to seduce you these past few days in the hospital? Was it a doctor, or a patient? Or maybe a nurse?”
The longer he spoke, the more poisonous his jealousy became. He lifted his face, his dazzling features twisted with madness, “Tell me, who was the wretch that tried to tempt you while I was gone? I’ll kill them.”
It was odd, really. He always considered himself the most beautiful in the world, unmatched in allure, yet he was constantly haunted by the thought that Bai Yao might fall for someone else.
Whenever that happened, his expression would contort with frightening jealousy.
Bai Yao remained calm. “I’ve been busy adjusting to work these past few days. Where would I find the time to like anyone else?”
Fu Huai stared at her face for a long moment, confirming she wasn’t lying. He then broke into a radiant smile, pressing his face to her shoulder again and wrapping his arms around her waist, snuggling and laughing, “Yao Yao, love me quickly.”
She asked, “You haven’t had dinner yet, have you?”
He shook his head, “No.”
She patted his head, “Wait here for me. I’ll go to the cafeteria and bring back some food.”
He grumbled, “I don’t want to be apart from you. I’ll go with you.”
Bai Yao replied bluntly, “No. There are too many people in the cafeteria—you can’t go.”
If he went, chaos would break out. She knew all too well his knack for causing trouble.
Fu Huai lifted his head, his gaze flickering, voice urgent, “You don’t want anyone else to see me. You want to keep me all to yourself, don’t you?”
He covered his mouth with one hand, but couldn’t suppress the gleeful moan that escaped.
His cheeks were flushed, his body trembling against hers, his black eyes burning with excitement. In that moment, he was just as he had been in the past, pinned beneath Bai Yao on the sofa or bed, experiencing an overwhelming pleasure.
“If it’s you, Yao Yao…” He bent down, his voice shaking, “Hide me away in a place no one else can find, break me into pieces and keep them on your person, even eat me if you wish—it’s all fine!”
Bai Yao: “……”
