Han Tianyue, Mao Xuanzi, and Fang Zhe led the way, with the Four Great Guardians following behind as they headed toward the Valley of Wickedness. Along the path into the valley, the Four Great Guardians caught up with Han Tianyue and the others.

Seeing the old shaman sitting down, the Four Great Guardians immediately prepared for battle, ready to confront them.

The Four Great Guardians, upon seeing the three of them, landed lightly on the ground.

One of the Guardians, Guan Tian, stepped forward and asked, “Have you seen the Ninth Generation Granny?”

This time, the Four Great Guardians approached Han Tianyue and the others without hostility. Han Tianyue was unafraid and replied, “The Ninth Generation Granny entered the Valley of Wickedness ahead of us. We are currently pursuing her.”

“If that’s the case, then the three sisters and we will go together!” Guan Tian turned to the other three Guardians—Fu Di, Luo Xuan, and Ping Huang.

The three exchanged glances and agreed, “Then let’s go together!”

Though the Four Great Guardians bore no ill will, they were not allies of Han Tianyue’s group. Now requesting to travel together, Han Tianyue nodded in consent but remained cautious of their actions.

The Guardians were taciturn and followed closely behind Han Tianyue’s group without saying much.

Meanwhile, after catching up with Han Tianyue’s group, the Four Great Guardians did not engage in battle but instead requested to accompany them. Han Tianyue agreed but remained vigilant.

Elsewhere, Feng Shang pursued Lei Dong into the Purple Bamboo Forest. Feng Shang’s speed was swift, and he soon caught up.

Lei Dong glanced back and said, “Why did you come?”

Feng Shang smiled, “I was the one who discarded your wife’s body. I should come back to help you find her.”

Lei Dong said no more and swiftly headed toward the Daughter’s Kingdom.

At the spot where Feng Shang had left Lei Min’s body, they easily found her.

Lei Dong landed on the ground and tightly embraced Lei Min’s corpse, his expression solemn. “Wife, I will never let anyone harm you again!”

Seeing Lei Dong’s emotion, Feng Shang was touched and quietly wept to the side.

“This place is so peaceful. Wife, I believe you will like it here!” After holding her for a long time, Lei Dong gently released Lei Min and looked around. The place was calm and safe. He gave Lei Min’s body a tender glance before making a decision.

Feng Shang, moved by the affection in Lei Dong’s eyes, understood his intention to bury Lei Min here. Without hesitation, Feng Shang began digging a grave, a task he was skilled at. In under three minutes, a pit just large enough for Lei Min’s body appeared.

Seeing the grave Feng Shang prepared, Lei Dong said nothing but embraced Lei Min once more. Time passed slowly until finally, Lei Dong left a deep kiss on Lei Min’s forehead. Then, he handed her body to Feng Shang, saying, “Please help me bury my wife.”

Though the words were simple, as Lei Dong handed over Lei Min, tears suddenly streamed down his face.

Feng Shang took Lei Min, glanced at Lei Dong as he turned away, and silently said to Lei Min, “You have a husband who loves you deeply.”

Afterwards, Feng Shang laid Lei Min into the grave.

As Feng Shang covered the earth, Lei Dong couldn’t help but look back once more at Lei Min. At that moment, he shed no tears but forced a smile, wanting to leave his best face for the one he loved most. “Wife, I love you!”

Feng Shang could not understand Lei Dong’s smile even if he knew about it, but this was Lei Dong—he loved Lei Min and did not want her last sight to be of his sorrow.

Thus, Lei Min gradually disappeared beneath the soil, becoming a grave.

Feng Shang wished to erect a tombstone, but Lei Dong refused, “No need. Lei Min doesn’t need anything to mark her existence, for she lives within my life. When I die, I hope you can bury us together and then level the grave.”

These words deeply shocked Feng Shang.

“What are your plans now?” Feng Shang asked.

Lei Dong, who had only wanted to bury Lei Min, now having fulfilled his wish, gazed toward the Daughter’s Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Han Tianyue, Mao Xuanzi, and Fang Zhe, accompanied by the Four Great Guardians, entered the bottom of the Valley of Wickedness. However, before them lay only desolation—nothing at all. Wondering where the so-called wicked ones had gone, they all turned their gazes to the Four Great Guardians.

The Guardians, looking at the barren valley, said, “It seems we must return to the Daughter’s Kingdom.”

Without inviting Han Tianyue and the others, the four Guardians turned and headed back to the Daughter’s Kingdom.

Facing the empty Valley of Wickedness, Han Tianyue and his companions were at a loss. “What should we do now?” Fang Zhe, recalling the veil of the woman in white from the illusion array, felt even more uneasy.

Han Tianyue considered briefly and then said, “We return to the Daughter’s Kingdom.”

With that, they turned and followed the Four Great Guardians away.
